Transnet's ports app available

Transnet said this makes it one of the few port operators globally to launch its own app, which took five months to develop‚ and includes live berth plans and terminal updates.
"The app is another communication channel that addresses an efficient service offering to the customer‚" said TPT General Manager for Commercial and Planning, Nombuso Afolayan.
The Transnet TPT app is available in the Google Play store for Android devices and the App Store for iOS devices.
Afolayan said it would help companies enhance their planning and proactively make decisions with real-time information.
A week ago the Airports Company SA (Acsa) launched SA's first airport app‚ after 18-months in development‚ giving travellers information on flights‚ getting to and from the airports‚ shopping and dining spots along with a range of images and maps of different terminals.
