    iPads for 30% of Gijima staff

    Information technology company Gijima is to spend R20-million on supplying Apple iPads to at least 30% of its staff according to an article published by The New Age. About 1 200 people will be issued with the new tablet computers.

    Shane Cooper, Gijima's strategy execution officer says that this is part of the company's move to creating a mobile workforce and that it is not feasible to keep repeating technology by providing each employee with a laptop, a tablet computer and a desktop computer.
