With final year examinations well under way for Grade 11 and Grade 12, OpenView HD is offering an extra helping hand for free. OpenView HD gives South African learners access to live exam revision every day on their educational channel, Mindset TV, broadcast on OpenView HD channel 201.
Learn Xtra LIVE, the flagship programme for Mindset TV, is a dedicated support programme for South African Grade 10-12 learners covering Mathematics, Mathematics Literacy, Physical Science, Life Sciences, Accounting and Business Studies.
"The focus of the Exam Revision programme is to provide learners with the best exam preparation and support," says Sheryl Yeadon, Channel Manager Mindset TV. "As such, the focus is on working through past exam type questions and helping learners understand not just the content required by the questions but also its language and the necessary exam answering techniques."
The Exam Revision programmes take place in the form of 60 minute pre-recorded lessons supported by content summaries and notes in the learners' guide, these can be obtained from Mindset TV's website. A series of 60 minute live shows then provides opportunity for learners to have their own questions addressed. Mindset TV is currently airing its Exam Revision programme, aimed at giving Grade 12 learners a helping hand with exam revision.

Every morning Mindset TV features educational programming aimed at the primary school learner. For example, Cabanaga is for Grade 4 -5 learners and teaches Maths, Science and Technology in English, isiZulu and sePedi!
