Away we go - to the movies!
These Nouveau movies just get down to the point and that's what I love about them. No unnecessary plot twists and anti-climaxes. Just raw and real, it is what it is. Away We Go is a beautiful journey of discovery visiting the wonders of love, life and family.
The film leads with romance, comedy and drama exploring the lives of long time couple (and now thirty-something) Burt (John Krasinski) and Verona (Maya Rudolph) who are expecting their first child. Colorado seems like the ideal place to raise their new bundle of joy, with Burt's parents close-by and the couple's main reason for settling there. But six months into the pregnancy, when they find out that the new grandparents-to-be are fulfilling their long-awaited dream to move away, Burt and Verona need to find another nesting place.
The couple embark on an ambitious itinerary in search of a place they can call home. They find themselves visiting family and friends from across to evaluate the opportunity that each city holds for their future family.
This is a heart-warming vision that gives us an insight to the hopes, fears and dreams of a couple staring down the challenges of life.
