Nu Metro Cinemas brings Bollywood to you this Eid

Nu Metro Cinemas confirmed that it will be releasing the highly anticipated new romantic action-adventure, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, featuring two of Bollywood's most popular stars: Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor. It will start showing exclusively at Nu Metro's cinemas across South Africa from Friday, 17 July 2015, coinciding with the film's global release around Eid.

Directed by Kabir Khan, the story of Bajrangi Bhaijaan opens with a five-year-old girl from Pakistan, who gets separated from her mother at an Indian railway station. Lost and hungry, she finds shelter at the home of Pavan, an ardent devotee of Hanuman, a devout Hindu and hailing from a robust wrestling family.

Pavan embarks on a quest to unite the child with her parents against all odds. Set against the backdrop of colourful Chandni Chowk, the film travels from the heartland of Punjab, through the deserts of Rajasthan, and over the snow-capped mountains of Kashmir.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan tells the story of how Pavan will move heaven and earth to fulfil the promise he made to the girl from across the border. It promises to deliver an epic tale set against spectacular backdrops, with all the elements of colour, passion, action, drama and musical numbers expected from a Bollywood blockbuster.
