Clarkson in trouble for remarks again

The Sowetan reports that Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has landed himself in hot water again for saying that Britain's striking public sector workers should "be taken outside and shot in front of their families" on BBC's prime time One Show.

He continued by saying: "I mean how dare they go on strike when they've got these gilt-edged pensions that are going to be guaranteed while the rest of us have to work for a living."

The BBC's One Show apologised for the remarks at the end of the show and Clarkson has also apologised for offending anyone with his remarks and said that they were not supposed to be taken literally, the Sowetan reports.

It's not the first time he has been in trouble. Earlier this year he was at the centre of a diplomatic row for making offensive remarks about Mexico. At the time he suggested that the reason the country doesn't have an Olympic team is "because anyone who can run, jump or swim is already across the border in the USA".
