UB40 - and band members - are broke
Four members of UB40 - the legendary reggae pop group that had a huge hit with its Red Red Wine, and sold over 70-million records worldwide - have been declared bankrupt.
Channel24 reports that Britain's Insolvency Service has listed Brian Travers, Jimmy Brown, Terence Oswald and Norman Hassan as insolvent following a declaration in the Birmingham County Court.
The four could now have their property seized by the tax officers to pay their outstanding debts. The insolvency case came about as a result of the failure of the group's record label and management company DEP International.
