Sterling EQ and The Gugulethu Tenors at the Artscape

Instrumental group Sterling EQ and Afro-operatic The Gugulethu Tenors are appearing together to bring local and international favourites, showpieces, classical remixes, original compositions, and tributes to music and songwriters from yesteryear.at the Artscape Arena, Cape Town, on 18 and 19 May, 2011.

Sterling EQ is a four-piece group, which has performed at SA's top events, and shared stages with international icons, and had two recent SAMA 2011 nominations. They have shared the stage with artists like Snow Patrol, Boney M, Parlotones, Lira and Loyiso, and have performed on top South African Productions like Mnet Idols, the SAMA awards and at the IPL Cricket Tournament. In December, 2011, they will be making their European debut with a concert tour of Germany.

International licensing agreement

Afro-operatic group The Gugulethu Tenors recently announced the signing of an international licensing agreement with David Gresham Records. Their eponymous debut album is the product of more than 10 years of hard work and showcases their ripe and heart-warming sound, and stylistic variety.

Sterling EQ and The Gugulethu Tenors in Concert takes place at the Artscape Arena on Wednesday, 18 and Thursday, 19 May from 8.15pm. Tickets are available at Computicket outlets at R120 and R90 for senior citizens, students and scholars. Block bookings of 10 or more are available at less 10 percent.
