NGB wins UCT launch your band comp

The UCT launch your band competition was won convincingly by 16-year-old outfit Nogapsbetween in a play off with hard rocking runners up Stealing Larry, both of whom had the honour of supporting Prime Circle in the final held at Quay 4 at Cape Town's V&A Waterfront on Friday, 30 April.

In the end the fresh alternative/dub sounds, commanding stage presence and ready-made fan base of homegrown high-schoolers ensured Nogapsbetween the number one spot. Their prize includes a R20,000 recording contract kindly sponsored by Sound & Motion studios as well as the opportunity of opening the 2010 Rocking the Daisies Festival.
