After thousands of votes were cast and counted Grassy Spark emerged as winner, together with December Streets, Nomadic Orchestra, Early Hours, and Timo ODV who were chosen as the five finalists for Vodacom Open The City.
For 'Going Viral With Grassy Spark', their crazy-fun off the wall vote-for-us video, they managed to rope in a heap of SA personalities like Jeremy Loops, Albairre and Nick Hamman and received over 9000 views and 400 shares in just a few days. These Cape Town locals will now take to the main stage of Vodacom In The City with their infectious ska blend of jumpy brass notes and fresh harmonies alongside international acts The Kooks, Milky Chance and The Cat Empire.
