A 90-minute drive from Cape Town brings you to the Kogelberg Nature Reserve. And in the heart of this World Heritage Site is Oudebosch, a small eco-tourism resort with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay to work, relax, or perhaps do a bit of both.
Each of the resort's five cabins consists of two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which makes them more than adequate to sleep three or four people. All cabins also include a fully-equipped kitchen, open plan living area with fireplace, and an outdoor deck that's perfect for an afternoon braai.

Oudebosch includes a small function venue, which was big enough for our team of 16. Cellphone reception was limited to non-existent, so you'll have to work offline if you're not up for driving down to nearby Kleinmond to check email or make calls.
Of course, being in such a beautiful place, I'd suggest that you forget about the outside world and instead spend your free time enjoying some of the many mountain hikes or taking a dip in the eco pool. You'll be a happy camper when you realise that "roughing it" never felt this good!
