Wings Travel Management expands to Singapore

The Singapore operation will mark Wings' presence in the Asia Pacific region (ASIAPAC) and see the provision of specialised support to companies in the oil and gas, marine and financial services sectors across the region. This represents a significant step for Wings in its global expansion plans, and will support the TMC's goal of becoming the benchmark in global travel management.

Sonja Hamman, who is currently the director of operations for UK & Europe, has been appointed to lead this region. Hamman has clearly demonstrated her ability to build a business from the ground up. She took leadership of the UK operation in 2001 and worked to develop it into one of the fastest growing TMCs in the UK and the fastest growing unit within Wings.

AsiaPac has been the missing dot on the Wings 'map' and opening an operation in this region gives us a truly global presence.
