Sorbet is opening an internationally recognised beauty school called The Beauty Therapy Institute @ Sorbet, offering women of all ages, and from all walks of life, the opportunity to learn new skills at affordable rates and during flexible hours. The savings on this modular system are claimed to be significant, compared to the traditional beauty schools that can charge as much as R50 000 per annum.
"What differentiates The Beauty Therapy Institute @ Sorbet from other institutions is the fact that students are able to do modular courses, paying only for the individual modules that they want to take, as opposed to the two-year full-time course," said Ian Fuhr, CEO of The Sorbet Group. "This means that the institute offers students flexibility of learning on a modular basis at their own time and at their own pace to suit their specific needs."
With campuses already in Randburg, Knysna and Cape Town, The Beauty Therapy Institute @ Sorbet in Rivonia will be the fourth school specialising in flexible modular courses in health, beauty, nails, skin care and complementary therapies. Sandy Roy, the founder and franchisor of the institute, opened her doors 14 years ago and registered to offer internationally and nationally recognised modular courses with ITEC and SAAHSP (South African Association of Health and Skincare Professionals).
Tammy Lloyd will be the principal of the institute. She was a student at the Cape Town institute and has since had eight years of experience as an educator in the Cape Town College. She has been running her own franchise in Randburg for the past three years.
If you are interested in enrolling for one or more of the modules that The Beauty Therapy Institute @ Sorbet has to offer, go to www.beautytherapyinstitute.co.za or contact Sorbet at az.oc.etutitsniyparehtytuaeb@tebros for an application form. They will invite you for an interview to discuss this unique system and plot your future in an exciting and rewarding, beauty, skin care and complementary therapy career.
