Fetish reforms for new album and gigs
Ten years after their last South African shows, Fetish is regrouping in Cape Town to record a full-length album and to perform two live shows at Mercury Live, Cape Town on 13 April and Tanz Café in Joburg on 14 April, 2012.
Recording began yesterday, 26 March, at Digital Forest Studios in Constantia, produced by long-time creative partner Chris Tuck. The band will be supported by Matthew van der Want for the two shows, who is back on the road to promote his new album.
Formed in Cape Town in 1996, Fetish was one of the forerunners of the post-apartheid rock explosion in South Africa. The band was formed by childhood friends Dominic Forrest and Jeremy Daniel, who had grown up together in Swaziland during the 1980s before meeting again in Cape Town.
