Bastille coming to SA in January

"But if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like nothing changed at all," will echo through the valleys of Kirstenbosch Gardens and the parks of Emmarentia Dam next year when Bastille are coming to SA for the first time and will perform two live shows in Cape Town on 8 January and Joburg on 11 January 2014.

Seed Experiences, in partnership with 5FM, are bringing Bastille - hailed as one of Britain's most exciting new bands known for hits such as Bad Blood, Overjoyed, Flaws and the chart-topping Pompeii.

Their debut album, "Bad Blood", is the biggest selling debut album of the year with near-Platinum sales, and the album is one of the top-10 biggest selling albums of the year. It was recently voted by Guardian readers as one of their favourite albums of 2013 and the single Pompeii has sold over 1 million copies and has now gone Platinum.

The venues

Bastille tours SA takes place on Wednesday, 8 January at Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden from 7.15pm. There will be no bars so fans can bring their own picnic baskets, but are reminded that Kirstenbosch is bin-free - whatever is brought in must be taken out. Fans are also asked to respect the peace and cleanliness of the residential areas when leaving.

Saturday, 11 January is a day festival at Emmarentia Dam from 12 noon. There will be food and drink on sale, and people can also bring their own picnic baskets.
