Finalists ready for Coastal Living Bru Fine Young Cooks awards

Judges included SMEG director Judy Horton (suppliers to the Coastal Bru competition), Kwa Dukuza ward councillor, Ann McDonnel, editor of Life and Style newspaper, Dave Charles and managing principal of the International Hotel School's Durban Campus, Genee Griffiths.

After much deliberation they chose the following twelve finalists : Chrystal Munisamy, Jessica Siedle, Ayanda Ncele, Jordon Duncan, Jordan Willis, Sfiso Mthembu, Jenna-lee Pillay, Kelsey Joubert, Abigail Van Der Linde, Luke Fisher, Ntsika Shangase and Vicky Middleton.

The kids cooking show will be followed by the adult 'So you think you can cook Ballito style' competition, which will see amateurs pairing off with some top chefs in the industry for the title of Coastal Living Chef.
