Dino Michael

House Music DJ and producer, Dino Michael has travelled the globe spreading the HOUSE message. With 25 years in the industry Dino has come to know what his audience enjoys, giving them reasons not to leave the dance floor and vice versa! He has played to packed venues for stretches of 14 hours at a time all for the love of House Music. Dino started off in the townships clubs surrounding Pretoria at the tender age of 16 (smuggled in through the back!), and progressed to clubs all over SA. He moved to Cape Town in '88 and started DJ'ing all over town, ending up taking over The Yellow Door in Gugulethu. He also started Yeah-Bo! In Sea Point, much to the dismay of the residents, but it became in institution for deep house. The owner of DJ Syndicate Records, the acclaimed home of dance music for the last three decades is something not to be missed.

With the knowledge and experience that Dino brings to the table, it's an honor to have him as part of the lineup. The Godfather's House has become a platform for Dino to express his lifelong love and passion of House music, partnering with Music Exchange is allowing him to share his experiences and expertise with everyone who will be at the 2013 conference.

Charles Webster

Charles has sold over 100,000 albums without ever being considered 'mainstream' or having a major hit single. He has toured the world with a full live band, DJ'd worldwide and regularly in every continent without ever having had the need to be feted by the dance media as a flavor of the month. He has run successful labels, straddled different genres and wrote original songs continuously challenging himself. If ever the industry needed music savants, Charles Webster would be one of them. After numerous releases worldwide, his last Furry Phreaks creation ?All Over The World' with Terra Deva has major release via Defected; in 2008 a definitive and long-overdue three disk Webster compilation project is released, also on Defected; swiftly followed by a Coast 2 Coast compilation for NRK records, he is producing luminaries such as Black Coffee, Bucie, MiCasa,Tracy Thorn (everything but the girl/massive attack) , Cathy Batistessa, Vanessa Daou, Wendy and Lisa and Robert Owens etc.; and the global dj'ing continues (clubs include....Ministry of Sound, Fabric, the End, Yellow, Liquid Room, Air, Loop, Haomann 17, the rex, weekend, panorama bar, moxa, Watergate, Robert Johnson, aquabooty, stereolab, deep, cielo, pacha, el divino , Big Chill, Independence festival, Flow Festival, Pink Pop, Movement Festival (DEMF)..Amongst many many others ...pretty much every club there is!). And we haven't even mentioned his internationally syndicated radio shows; his remixes for the likes of Salif Keita, Martina Topley- Bird, Fish Go Deep, Michael Clies, Dennis Ferrer, MiCasa, Bucie, Atjazz, Seconds to mention but a few, the number of quality compilations still falling over themselves to feature his work (old and new) ... A true innovator in the electronic music scene, Charles Webster is one of the few real mould breakers in an increasingly stale and predictable dance music world.
