SA Innovation Summit sets September date for Cape Town

The theme for 2016 was innovate, accelerate, ignite. The organisers provided an acceleration platform called ‘Match and Invest’ for the first time. This was a success with more than 650 meetings that were actioned over two days and more than 25 investors active on the platform. This platform will be expanded in 2017.

To facilitate entrepreneurs, pitching sessions are now open. The first such pitching night takes place in Gauteng on 18 January 2017 at the new Tshimologong Precinct. The winner goes to the Innovation Summit. To register, go to www.venturenetwork.co.za.
