FNB and PayPal are encouraging South African consumers to utilise the international payment system this festive season to send money to families overseas or buy gifts online from international online retailers that accept PayPal.

The system avoids consumers having to share financial details with online sellers, the Christmas rush at the mall and provides peace of mind, as the system provides buyer protection in case something goes wrong with purchases. Credit cards can be linked to the PayPal account.
