PayPal has launched a partnership with USaddress.com to enable customers in the majority of sub-Saharan Africa countries, including South Africa, to benefit from the holiday sales in the US. PayPal customers will exclusively receive up to $10 off coupon (PPAFBF) for deliveries from the US, made through USaddress.com, during the time of the promotion. The coupon code is applicable for use 10 times, adding to a total of up to $100 in savings. This is on top of potential savings on offer on seasonal deals, which are available throughout most US online retailers.
This service allows customers to shop at any US online retailer and to provide a local mail address that can be used if a US merchant does not ship to South Africa. Customers registering on the USaddress.com website are given a personal US home address that can be used on all American shopping websites, making millions of products available to them. After making a purchase, packages will be delivered to the USaddress.com logistics centre. Customers are notified of the arrival of their packages, select their preferred method of shipping and pay online. The delivery is then dispatched to their doorstep anywhere in the world, including in South Africa and most sub-Saharan Africa countries.
Online commerce creates a world of opportunities for buyers, but entering card details on an overseas website can be concerning. With 157 million active accounts in 203 markets, PayPal is known and trusted around the world, providing a simpler and more secure way to pay online without sharing financial information with the seller.
