Speaking at a joint media conference following a meeting with Indian president Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Zuma said that South Africa will be seeking cooperation with India on the acquisition of some of these skills.
Praising the existing development partnership between SA and India, Zuma said South Africa welcomes existing development support. "Many South Africans are benefiting from India's ITEC programme, which shares the Indian development experience with developing countries," he said. According to BusinessTech, Zuma listed skills development in agriculture, small business management, science, technology and biotechnology.
