Shape magazine launches its 2006 Cover Look Competition
The winner of Shape's annual Cover Look Competition must embody a healthy lifestyle - physically, mentally and emotionally. It's not simply about looking good on the outside; the winner has to quite literally live the brand.
She's the kind of role model you'd want your daughter to look up to; a woman who loves life, celebrates family and friends, is passionate about her goals and looks as good as she feels.
Says Shape publisher Elsa Carpenter-Frank: "What makes this cover competition different from the many others is that the Shape winner has to embrace what both the magazine and our sponsors represent. It's great to see us sharing these values with other brands."
Sanex brand manager Belinda Hayes emphasises that "Sanex promotes healthy skin in a holistic way. Our products help to make you look and feel healthy, giving you the confidence to live life to the full."
Now in its second year, the competition is open to all women who think they fit the profile. Entry forms are available in the December issue of Shape or can be downloaded on www.shapemag.co.za. Once entries are collated on 31 December 2005, six finalists will be chosen. These finalists will be whisked off to a spa where judges and finalists will meet, mingle and get to know one another better.
The winner will feature on the cover of Shape and will receive a host of fabulous prizes including a trip for two to Mozambique worth R50 000. She will also be considered as the face of Sanex for 2006.
Sanex will again team up with Shape as the naming rights sponsor for the competition. Adidas, Pharmaton as well as DairyBelle's In Shape range have signed as sub-sponsors.
