Out today, 28 May 2012, the winter issue also has a focus on Asia, exploring Nepal's top attractions, Thai street food and the bustle of Hong Kong. African destinations take in Morocco and the Serengeti, while other articles look at touring in Australia, the exotic highlights of Turkey, Tintin's Brussels and voluntourism in Mauritius.
"We found the first issue worked well by featuring something from every continent, so we'll be pursuing this formula for the most part and then tailor each issue to 'what's hot' in the relevant season," explained publisher Jacqueline Lahoud.
In keeping with its design objective, the issue is pictorially driven and printed on high-quality paper, with a print run of 21 000, with 15 000 copies available on the newsstand at R39.95 each and the rest to magazine subscribers.
