A new flavour at Taste
Angela Brooks has been appointed as editor of New Media's customer title Woolworths TASTE. Brooks joins the team in September and will work closely with Sumien Brink, founding editor, who remains on board as the Editor-in-Chief.
Brooks was formerly editor of Food & Home Entertaining magazine.
Publisher Irna van Zyl says: "We are extremely pleased to have someone with Angela's culinary and editorial credentials on board at such an exciting stage of TASTE's development. The team has had a great year winning a host of key magazine awards coupled with excellent circulation results. Angela's skills will help a winning combination to up the ante even more."
The magazine recently took top honours at the 2004 ADvantage Admag Awards, winning the local Magazine of the Year and Best Custom Publication Awards. Current editor, Brink was awarded the ADvantage Editor of the Year Award. Consulting food editor, Maranda Engelbrecht, secured a Mondi Magazine Award in the At Home category for her series of features.
