Bobo is a pre-school magazine for boys and girls, aged 4 to 9, originally from the Netherlands, now introduced into South Africa.Bobo is endorsed by the Gauteng Department of Education. The main launch will be in June, with the product first coming out in April as a pre-runner to the launch. Most of the distribution is to be done through schools, the schools benefiting in the following ways:
The children are learning by doing, telling, reading short stories, explaining, experiencing and enjoying, using their eyes, ears and hands. The character Bobo is the leader of the magazine, a friendly rabbit with whom children of all origins and backgrounds can associate with.
