Due to the growing popularity of Weg! supplement Wegsleep!, Media24 has given the green light for the niche publication to go it alone as a quarterly magazine this festive season - targeting all those with a burning desire to "tow away" for leisure and pleasure.

Says editor for Wegsleep! Zigi Ekron: "As a supplement to Weg!, we were bowled over by the positive reaction and unbelievable number of contributions received from readers. We believe in the importance of the reader's voice, as it is after all their magazine. And this constituted the establishment of Wegsleep! as an autonomous and independent magazine.

"In its endeavours to ensure the very best in pictorial and editorial content, Wegsleep! will rely heavily on contributions from a team of seasoned journalists and photographers."

Campers, travellers and keen towers will be kept abreast of the latest news in camping adventures, expeditions, safaris and camping equipment. Tongue-in-the cheek columns will also look at the funny side of caravaning and tent pitching.

In addition, each edition will be jam-packed with five-star caravan news, whilst adequate space will also be dedicated to sharing the greatest in outdoor cooking for all those food fundis.
