Lego auction raises R10 000 for Midrand SPCA

Sales teams took part in an HP Enterprise Business incentive, which had them earn Lego pieces with which they had to build entire Lego sets. Once completed, the sets were put on auction and raised R10,000.

The AxizWorkgroup HP Enterprise Business handed over the R10,000 to Elsje Naicker, GM of Midrand SPCA. "A big thank you goes out to AxizWorkgroup and its HP Enterprise Business team. This generous donation will assist greatly in purchasing much-needed pet food for the cats and dogs in our care. A remarkable drop in support was noted during 2012 and this R 10,000 is like gold for our society," said Naicker.

"Midrand SPCA cares for 160 animals at any given time and we are pleased to have been able to assist in making the lives of these animals more bearable," said Jim Holland, HP Enterprise executive of AxizWorkgroup.
