Charity Valentine's Day dinner in aid of newborns

To raise funds in support of the Newborns Groote Schuur Trust, 1800 Degrees at Cape Royale is offering a five-course wine-paired menu, auction, lucky draws, goodie bags and live entertainment, with TV and radio personality, Liezel van der Westhuizen, as MC on Valentine's Day.

The Trust exists to save the lives of tiny, fragile babies with the neonatal team being at the forefront of specialist care for preterm babies.

Rey Franco, F&B manager at the hotel, explains, "This year, instead of the restaurant just being a popular choice for couples to spend their Valentine's Day, we decided that we wanted to make a difference and give back to this worthy cause. This way, couples can still enjoy a very romantic and highly entertaining time together, while at the same time doing something that will change lives forever."

Limited space is available at R495 per person, so book by calling +27 (0)21 430 0506 or email moc.seergedderdnuh81@ofni. For more information about the Newborns Groote Schuur Trust, go to www.newborns.org.za.
