Music goers can bring their old cellphone devices or accessories of any make or model to the collection points and donate them for safe recycling.
Every person who donates an old or unused device or accessory of any make or model will be given a leaf, made out of recycled billboard, to add to the Nokia 'We Recycle' tree and get an entry into the lucky draw for the Nokia N8.
The company has committed to plant a tree for every 20 phones or accessories collected and participants will also be sent a certificate after the festival with the GEOtag of exactly where their tree has been planted.
If every one of the more than 4 billion mobile phone users globally recycled just one of their old devices this could save 240 000 of raw material and reduce gases to the same extent as taking 4 million cars off the roads. For more information on these recycling initiatives, go to www.nokia.com/werecycle.
