What makes the Loeries committee tick?
Masekwameng shares a 30th birthday with the Loeries, which is also celebrating its 30th anniversary. Guess who's going to be going large this year at the festival?! If you're there, and you see him, buy him a shooter!
Q: What were you doing 30 years ago, today?
A: As it turns out, my mother says I was desperately waiting to be born, with just seven weeks to go.
Q: What have you done to make your mother proud?
A: She saw me in a TV interview and I sent her, her friends and folks some shout-outs. I believe they recorded it on VHS.
Q: What is the most effective brand communication you have ever seen (from television advert to business card to head office)?
A: Good service, or good products that speak for themselves minus all the bells and whistles that we communicators come up with.
Q: What do you do to encourage creativity in your own life?
A: I try to keep an open mind so as to learn from others that I admire.
Q: What's your most exciting (non-work) activity?
A: The football, the music and whatever I do with my lady.
Q: What's the best way you can think of to celebrate the big "three-oh".
A: Probably in Margate, at the Loeries, going real big.
