A start-up Cape Town website, MyDoorHandle.com, is a new location-sharing website that enables people to get directions from their location to a venue, office or event anywhere in Africa.
Removing the frustration of un-signposted streets, poor directions and non-working GPS systems, the new site utilises Google maps to pinpoint an address, creates a unique name and then saves that for dissemination through email, Twitter, Facebook etc. No more Googling directions while you drive or following bad directions scrawled on the back of a serviette.

Step 2: Give your DoorHandle a unique name.
Step 3: Share the handle.
Anyone driving to you can simply click on the handle and get accurate step-by-step directions to your office, home or event, from wherever he or she is in the world.
