International partnership extends Infor offerings in SA

Softworx and SNS, Infor channel partners and product specialists, have announced a partnership that is designed to strengthen the Infor business in sub-Saharan Africa. Together, they aim to provide an expert team of operational and technical consultants, highly knowledgeable in the supply chain and logistics domain.

Softworx, with its expertise in end-to-end business solutions, will drive the sales and marketing of the solutions while SNS, a leading international provider of supply chain services based in Lebanon, will be responsible for implementation.

SNS has customers and partners spread geographically across the globe. Its offices in Dubai, Jeddah, Johannesburg and Beirut offer training, consulting and software services. “Our main focus for the past few years has been on the Middle East and Gulf region. This is our first serious partnership outside of the Middle East,” explains Mario Ghosn, senior manager at SNS.

“Softworx is delighted to have formed this relationship with SNS. It is the Infor partner with the best track record in the Infor warehouse management implementations,” says Jane Thomson, MD of Softworx. “With its knowledge and experience of this solution and our experience and commitment to this market, we believe we are going to deliver significant value to the customers.”

Partnership makes sense

Ghosn adds that the partnership made sense because the two companies share the same values and culture - something he sees as essential to the success of any joint endeavour. Thomson, who says that the foundation of both companies is a commitment to delivering to their customers, shares this sentiment.

“This ethos underpins everything we do and we know this will mean great business together,” she adds. “We will work together to ensure the customers get the very best level of service and to jointly grow the marketplace and both companies will support each other wherever possible. We respect each others' reputations in our respective fields and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership.”

Ghosn points out that the main goal of the partnership is to service any company looking to implement Infor's supply chain software with the best possible offering. This is not limited only to large companies, he adds. “Our partnership is a great platform to offer opportunities to small and medium companies. We have solutions targeted for small and medium companies that are cost-effective but offer the same functionalities as those designed for large enterprises.”
