Industrial refrigeration merger adds to energy solutions

Energy Partners has announced the merger of its industrial refrigeration division with local industrial refrigeration specialists, RG Moolenschot and Associates (RGMA). This collaboration is aimed at increasing Energy Partners' footprint while simultaneously expanding the services of RGMA to its client base to include holistic energy solutions. RGMA will trade under the Energy Partners banner from now on.

Industrial refrigeration is a large contributor to South Africa's ever-increasing energy challenges. Established in 2008, Energy Partners provides customised energy solutions across several industries, focusing on food retail, retail, healthcare, hospitality, food processing and logistics. Its divisions include renewable generation (solar), steam generation (fully outsourced), HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), electrical and refrigeration services - with this merger specifically aimed at expanding the industrial refrigeration division.

Karel Cornelissen, CEO of Energy Partners, says the merger will optimise the company's industrial refrigeration division to provide both client bases with the added value of the combined expertise. "By increasing the level of specialised skills in each division, we ensure optimal efficiency and industry-leading solutions."

RGMA, founded in 2003, is currently a leading force in the local industrial refrigeration industry with the founder, Richard Moolenschot, having over 40 years of experience in the field.

Moolenschot says that while RGMA holds specialised expertise in the industrial refrigeration field, holistic energy solutions are the way forward to meet the needs of corporate South Africa successfully. "We are excited to merge with a well-established holistic energy solutions provider such as this and believe the endeavour will be mutually beneficial for the company and clients alike."

Following the merger, the companies are currently working together on several national and international projects. For more information, go to www.energypartners.co.za.
