Fielli opens in Cape Town

Fielli, an importer and retailer of exclusive designer furniture, has opened its first shop in the Western Cape in Canal Walk Shopping Centre. Opened nine years ago in a 900m2 shop, it has grown into a leader in indoor and outdoor furniture design across 1600m2 of showroom space including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and Port Elizabeth.

Displaying its latest ranges, the Canal Walk store presents a unique imported collection of classic, modern and contemporary lounge, dining room and bedroom suites, TV units, coffee tables, chandeliers, accessories and all-weather outdoor furniture. As solid wood pieces are becoming scarcer in the market today, it presents specifically for the Canal Walk store launch its latest indoor furniture range, called Calliano, manufactured from solid elm.

Iqbal Bam, CEO explains, "Although retail outlets design teams are under pressure to work smarter, the common denominator driving the new space was to create everything around the evolving notion of customer service and a luxuriant shopping experience.

"The most important aspect of store development right now is the correct timing, the right size, a selection of international trending pieces and of course, location. We are confident that our new footprint in Canal Walk is going to see many new customers introduced to the brand."
