"The store is one of our established stores and we felt it was time to show the community our appreciation for their ongoing support over the years by upgrading the store, giving them access to an exciting new retail experience," says Brian Coppin, Fruit & Veg City CEO and co-founder.
The store will introduce a wine bar and tasting area, where customers can sample locally sourced wines, a barista bar, where shoppers can select international or local blends of aromatic coffee and an olive oil station. The grill bar prepares meat for customers at the Market Café or to takeaway. There is a fresh oyster and mussel bar and a hot sandwich counter.
"We are moving towards offering our customers a truly experiential shopping environment while continuing to offer unbeatable value and quality - this is what sets us aside from our competitors," says Coppin.
