Sep real wholesale sales up 0.1% y/y

Wholesale trade sales at constant (2000) prices for September increased by 0.1% year on year (y/y) compared with a revised 7.4% (7.0%) y/y growth in August‚ Statistics SA data showed on Thursday, 16 November 2012.

Wholesale trade sales in nominal terms increased by 3.3% y/y in September.

Measured in real terms (constant 2000 prices)‚ seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales decreased by 4.4% in September compared with August. This followed month-on-month increases of 2.7% in August and 1.0% in July.
