SA Rugby wines from Ernie Els
The SA Rugby Red, a Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 blend and the SA Rugby White, a 2011 Sauvignon Blanc will both be produced by Ernie Els for the Rugby World Cup 2011, which kicks off on 9 September and runs until 23 October 2011. Both wines are now available at most major retailers. The red will retail from R79.99 and the white from R59.99.
Duncan Woods, brand manager of the Els Group (SA), says, "The association between SA Rugby and Ernie Els Wines is extremely exciting and fitting. Both brands are South African icons, committed to the pursuit of excellence in their respective fields. Sport has been an incredible unifier in our country over the past two decades and it is woven into the fabric of our team."
