Obikwa doesn't bury its charm

The Distell brand entered the local market last year with its bright yellow ostrich on the label. The Chardonnay 2009 is an easy drinking wine to accompany starters and chicken dishes. The Cabernet Sauvignon, also from the 2009 vintage, is full-bodied and teems with prunes and cherries with hints of delicate oak spices and firm tannins.

Both are priced at around R23 in stores country-wide.
