Bafana Bafana Wines was conceived by Northern Cape producers Oranjerivier Wine Cellars and Afriwines as a way to “penetrate the emerging market, where wine has an extremely low level of awareness”.
Trevor Theledi, a partner in Afriwines, said the wine would change the public perception of wine.
The wines go on sale this week and are priced from R25 to R35.
