Sweet taste of nostalgia

Moir's is launching two retro-inspired ranges of jellies and instant puddings, aimed at invoking fond memories of truly South African favourites just like Grandma used to make.

The Heritage Range of Instant Puddings comes in the traditional flavours of Milk Tart, Apple Crumble, Peppermint Crisp Tart and Blueberry Cheesecake.

The new Exotic Jelly flavours include Persian Black Mulberry, Grapefruit, Melon and Pomegranate.

“To evoke the feeling of nostalgia with the Heritage Instant Pudding range, we recreated vintage styling techniques and employed design elements, typography and a colour pallet reminiscent of retail packaging in the 1950s and 1960s,” says Snowy Krüger, Moir's brand manager.

The retro-inspired packaging was designed by Cape Town based agency, Creative Performance, printed by CTP in Johannesburg and filled at the Moir's factory in Ndabeni, Cape Town.

The case configuration for the puddings is 24 x 80g and 6 x 8 x 80g for the jellies. The new ranges are available in all leading supermarkets and convenience stores for approximately R3.50 for the Exotic Jellies and R4.69 for the Heritage Range Instant Puddings.
