Koch will report to Ken Willett, vice-president and managing director HP Middle East, Mediterranean, Africa (MEMA) and succeeds Olivier Suinat, who had been announced as vice-president sales, Technology Solutions Group for HP Central & Eastern Europe earlier this year.
Koch has been acting managing director and Technology Solutions Group head of HP Africa since May 2007. Previously, he headed the HP Services business in Africa since 2004 where he has been responsible for accelerating business growth across the entire company portfolio.
His career in the IT industry extends over 22 years. Koch joined HP Germany in 1985 as a consultant and account manager and since then has held several senior management positions in Central & Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
