New aged single malts from Balvenie

Balvenie will be releasing two new aged single malts to South Africa in June this year. One is the Balvenie Caribbean Cask, aged 14 years and the other is the Balvenie DoubleWood aged 17 years.

New aged single malts from Balvenie

The DoubleWood 17-year-old is distinctly different, with deeper vanilla notes, hints of green apple, creamy toffee and a striking richness and complexity. It has a recommended retail price of R1399.

The Caribbean Cask has had a 14-year maturation period in traditional oak whisky casks, before being transferred to casks that previously held Caribbean rum to finish aging. It has an ABV of 43% and a recommended retail price of R799.
