The official opening of the V&A Waterfront store on 12 December was accompanied by the Esprit signature vertical “skywalk” fashion show, which has been used for the opening of some of the world's top Esprit stores. The show took place at the BOE building in the Clock Tower precinct, with a second event scheduled for the Cape Town public on 13 December.
The objective of the vertical “skywalk” fashion show was to showcase Esprit as a fresh lifestyle brand which is in touch with the market - consumers who are looking for fun, affordable luxury and fashion that brings a signature newness and style to life.
Esprit is targeted at the typically lifestyle orientated customer, who prefers a comfortable casual look, yet wants to feel well-dressed.
The brand continues to grow in both local and international markets and is available in 40 countries through 640 directly managed stores and over 12,000 wholesale point-of-sales worldwide. Over the next six months, approximately 30 new retail stores will be added throughout the world.
