Brush Strokes and Beyond Exhibition
As part of the Plett Arts Festival, the Plett Arts Association presents Brush Strokes and Beyond, an exhibition and workshop series running from Friday, 3 October to Thursday, 9 October at the Piesang Valley Community Hall, Plettenberg Bay.
The exhibition showcases the work of local artists - both established and emerging - across a variety of mediums, from acrylics and oils to charcoal and mixed media. More than just a display of creativity, the event is also about giving back: 10% of all art sales will be donated to Hospice Plett (PlettAid Foundation), supporting palliative care and wellness services in the Bitou community.
Visitors can also take part in creative sessions, including Children’s Art Workshops, a Wet Felting Workshop, a Clay Workshop, a Watercolour Workshop, and a Charcoal Drawing Demo with Gary Davis. These interactive experiences are designed to encourage participation and inspire festival-goers of all ages.
A special raffle in support of Hospice Plett will run throughout the exhibition, with prizes donated by local businesses and artists.
