I am an energetic individual who have obtained a Degree in Logistics at the University of Johannesburg.

I was at THE PRESIDENCY in Supply Chain Management; I was responsible for facilitating the processes to obtain operating equipment for residences, Compiling procurement requests, initiating procurement processes, obtaining quotesto and performing general administration duties.

Capture requisitions. Create item control numbers. Register non CSD suppliers. Generate procurement advice. Fax or email orders to suppliers. Register documents on invoice tracking systems and daily register. Handle internal and external queries.

Follow up on 0-9 files. Certification of invoices upon receipts of goods and services. Receipt of goods from suppliers. Capture receipts online. Issuing of stationary items to internal clients. Receipt of stock from service providers. Capture issues and receipts online. Liaise with service providers as well as internal clients.

Capturing of payments on LOGIS online, capturing of suppliers bank details on LOGIS. Checking of the allocations on the system before processing payments. Handling of all enquiries with regard to payments from both external and internal clients. Verify the correctness of payment documents before processing. Registering of payments in the register book before submitting them to Finance. Ensure that payments are made within 30 days after the receipt of invoice. Compile the weekly and monthly spreadsheet on processed payments.

I also have one year experience as a Graduate Trainee at MOPANI SOUTH EAST TVET COLLEGE (Student Support Services- Bursary), I was responsible for providing bursary information to students, receiving bursary application forms from the students, capturing of the bursary application forms on the system, creating spread-sheets for all bursary applicants, receiving and recording invoices.

I believe I am a suitable candidate for this position because I have the personal qualities which are needed to any functioning Industry. Such special qualities that I have include the ability to communicate well with individuals at different levels, to work in a team, to contribute to creative solutions, to pay special attention to detail, to learn quickly in a new environment and furthermore, the ability to adhere in a deadline driven environment.
