My experience, skills and expertise has enabled me to contribute to the provision of a quality service to the clients by providing administrative support to ensure a smooth and efficient warehousing service.
Provide general administrative support and back up to the Warehousing team in ensuring client requirements are met. Prepare detailed paperwork for receiving and shipping and capturing data accurately into the inventory system. Ensure the timeous coordination and scheduling of couriers and shipments in order to facilitate the seamless delivery of client goods and commodities in accordance with agreed service level agreements. Coordinate and undertake routine cycle counting including carrying out the investigation of picking and packing queries, capture discrepancies onto IDDE, DLS, and Compu-clear systems and report findings to management.
Originate and track purchase order numbers and ensure payment accuracy with corresponding back-up documentation to contribute to seamless service delivery.
Contribute to good housekeeping standards being maintained through the identification of housekeeping failures and issues while alerting warehouse supervisors hereof.
Create a positive experience and atmosphere through the professional engagement with both internal and external contacts including dealing with direct enquiries in a courteous manner. Maintain records and information in accordance with company policy and ensuring it is appropriately managed, filed, accurate and up to date. Ensure compliance of all relevant legislative requirements and that all activities in the area of responsibility are compliant with company specific regulations.
Experience in warehousing and acquired ability to administer inbound and outbound entries and update the bond register accordingly.
