Christo van der Rheede named Agri Seta chairperson
Christo van der Rheede has been appointed as the chairperson of the Agri Sector Education and Training Authority (Seta) board, while Neil Hamman has signed on as a new board member. Agri Seta is a government agency responsible for the administration and funding of training programmes within the agricultural sector.
Van der Rheede currently serves as the deputy chief executive at Agri SA, where he is responsible for transformation within agriculture, amongst other duties. Hamman is a wine farmer in the Breederiviervallei-district in the Western Cape and also serves as chairperson of Agri SA's labour and development committee.
