The 2012 Design Indaba Conference, which opened on Wednesday, 29 February 2012, took place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre until 2 March 2012.

The shortlist of the 10 most-beautiful objects in South Africa over the past year has been selected by lineup of design journalists and cultural commentators for Design Indaba's 2012 Most Beautiful Object in South Africa (MBOISA) award.

Part bar, part art installation, the Design Indabar presented by Groslch is a mobile celebration of the spirit of creativity.

Grolsch has entered into a three-year key sponsorship deal with Design Indaba. Delegates at the conference were invited to add their signatures and fingerprints to the commemorative Grolsch wall, where everyone's mark slowly came together to reveal the iconic Grolsch logo.
