KPI Cubed Supply Chain Consulting and Training explained the concept of supply chain to the young people at the SOS Children's Villages.
KPI Cubed Supply Chain Consulting and Training executive consultant Karen Pretorius explained the concept by using rolls of wine gums as currency, buying, selling, and forecasting demand using everyday products like Coca-Cola, coffee, and chocolates. Pretorius also used the session to explain components like ingredients and packaging, supplier and customer, and route to market.
