Distance learning accreditation for B.Ed

Embury Institute for Higher Education, owned by Stadio Holdings, has been awarded official distance learning accreditation, by SAQA, for its Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching (NQF 7) qualification. While this teaching programme has traditionally been on offer to full-time students registered at one of Embury's three campuses in Durban, Midrand and Pretoria, the distance learning offering now widens access to students wanting to enter the teaching profession. A benefit of embarking on a distance learning qualification is that the fees are traditionally more affordable than that of a full-time degree. The course material is also designed such that one can study at one's own time and pace, eliminating the demands of travelling regularly to and from an institution.
